Spanning several years, this game project fostered the need for a generalist skill set in games. With a small, lively team I was able to don many hats and go through a complete art pipeline using Unity and the custom level editor to help deliver this action-packed game.

Realtime VFX

Recently I endeavored to hone my skills as a realtime vfx artist. As much as being a 3D generalist requires swapping hats, vfx requires a more focused version of this. From creating meshes and textures to material authoring. Each effect is an elegant puzzle with multiple approaches.

Sometimes things just refuse to fit nicely in a focused area. From illustrations (both 2D and 3D) to shorter lived projects this is a broad category. An artistic closet for the rest of my hat collection.
